Anthony Nolan Trust Abseil
The Anthony Nolan Trust were given permission to abseil from the top of the Waterloo Monument at the top of Peniel Heugh. This is a monument , built between 1817 and 1824 to commemorate the Battle of Waterloo, standing on a hill top near to Harestanes Visitor Centre.  Our two event photographers got fit climbing up the left handed spiral stairs, they said however it was worth the effort for the views from the top which they said was truly stunning. Next year The Anthony Nolan Trust will be arranging a zipslide from the top of the tower, if you are interested in participating then keep an eye on their website for the date to be announced.Â
